My wife and I decided to eat at Cherry’s Seafood & Steaks in Trenton this past weekend and had high hopes without high expectations as we are very well acquainted with local restaurants in the area. The overall appearance and atmosphere was pretty good and the service was great with a very personable young waitress. At first look the prices seemed high however, you are not at fast food joint with frozen reheated dinners. The prices of the steaks and seafood are on par with other local places. You’ll pay the same for chain restaurant food but there will be a major difference. The food was with out question on point. My wife’s steak was cooked to perfection and was obviously high quality. I myself had the fish and shrimp with a lobster sauce, sausage cheese grits and coleslaw. The portions were generous and the seafood was fresh. Whoever the the Chef was that prepared this dish new his business. Everything about the meal was absolutely perfect. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who truly appreciates good food! By the way, we met the owner Jeff and his wife, I believe her name was Jessica, after dinner, truly nice people.

Awesome restaurant!. We have eaten here numerous times and every time has been a great dining experience! Trenton is blessed to have a restaurant of this caliber. Everything has been great – from the food, to the staff – to the owners. Be sure and try their own Apple vinaigrette dressing on your salad, a light, spring flavor and the crab bisque..a great way to start your entree. We’ve tried numerous entrees and liked all of them, two faves are: the local grown center cut steak, we also added a blue cheese sauce with caramelized mushrooms and onions and also like the blackened mahi. Their desserts are to die for…but definitely not on your diet! Every dish is obviously cooked to order, they are very accommodating with requests and prepared with love. Be sure and visit Cherry’s whether you or local or not…it’s worth your time and a drive! Let the owners Jeff and Jessica know how much you enjoy your visit!
REFRESHING. I must say that it is wonderful to finally have a decent place to eat in town! The Establishment is very clean, the old bottles are so neat, the history in the pictures is awesome, & the food is incredible! Everyone from the moment you walk in throughout your entire meal and as you go to leave are the friendliest people!! The staff is very attentive & it’s obvious the owners not only take pride in their restaurant but they enjoy it as well!!
The server was kind and helpful. The food is mediocre and overpriced. $14 for a burger, fries, small drink. $9 for a Caesar salad without protein using what is clearly a mass produced from a jar Caesar dressing. We were not impressed and wouldn’t come back.
