  This is a review for the Vero beach location only, there is also another location in Sebastian and I will write a separate review on that page establishment. I have been ordering Chinese food, take out mostly, from this place for the past four or five years. Yes, this is a typical American – Chinese style strip mall restaurant. There is nothing particularly exciting or exceptional on the menu, it is very standard fare that you will find on every menu across the country. Fried rice, lo mein, sweet and sour, egg foo young, moo shi, egg rolls, poo poo platter, different combinations of vegetables, white or dark sauce, and proteins. That being said, I think that this restaurant is a step above the ordinary American – Chinese strip mall restaurant especially when it comes to vegetable dishes. As far as I can tell, no canned vegetables are used, it seems that all the vegetables are fresh. I’m pretty sensitive to canned vegetables and with the exception of water chestnuts I’ve never noticed any canned vegetable flavor on any dish that I’ve ordered from bamboo court in Vero Beach. The prices have gone up recently, so if you have an old menu even from a year ago, don’t be surprised if you get there and find your bill to be higher than expected. All in all, even with the increased prices recently, I still think this is the best takeout American – Chinese style restaurant in Vero Beach Florida.

  The food itself was quite good, but service items were horrible. We were given tiny little plastic forks to eat with that bent when used to pickup food. Condiments were tear open plastic pouches that is impossible to open without making a mess. Drinks were served in four ounce styrofoam cups. All in all a poor experience. Service quality does not match food quality.

  Reliable. Decent, clean and inexpensive local take-out. Expect quick affable processing of your order and openness to special requests. Not memorable but reliable. A great option for those nights when you suddenly realize you just don’t have the energy to cook.
