Best steak in town. I just read the last review and dont know what happened with that woman’s Easter meal, I drove by the place on Easter and the parking lot was over flowing, maybe they were too busy. I dont know the case but I just wanted to chime in my 2 cents worth. This new location opened a few months ago on US 1 (next to the big new Center State Bank) from South Ocean Drive, but I hear it’s under new ownership, it is spectacular, We have been there about 4 times already and everything was perfect, really one of the best steaks I have ever had and this includes The Palm, Morton’s, Ruth Chris, etc. The wine prices were good too, service was a tad slow but super friendly. I would recomend it highly !!
My family and I went here for Easter Sunday dinner because we thought it would be a nice change of pace to not cook. In hindsight, I would have rather cooked. Our stay was over 2.5 hours due to poor service. I chose the French onion soup, petite filet, Mac & four cheese, and creme brle. It took an hour for our appetizers, & when they brought them, they gave every one the wrong one and we had to switch ourselves. The entree also took forever. My sister in law got a petit filet as well and hers was twice the size of mine, which doesn’t make any sense to me. The water tasted like awful unfiltered tap water, they claimed they served their wine in crystal glasses (they most certainly were not crystal) and by the time we actually made it to desert, more than half of the deserts were ‘no longer’. Including my creme brle. I did not want any other desert, so I was mad. I got a coffee, it tasted like dish water. At this point all we wanted was the check and to get out. They wasted my family’s time and we all left extremely unhappy. I would have rather gone to Red Lobster for the money. While the food I actually got wasn’t bad, it was the best and the service made everything awful, so at this point it doesn’t even matter how the food tasted. This place needs to get it together and learn how to treat their customers. We definitely would’ve returned if worth it. We go out all the time. Needless to say, we shan’t be returning.
