Disappointed lunch. My mother and I ate lunch here today. We each ordered a prime rib sandwich. It came with a CHUNK of lettuce, a slice of tomato and a slice of onion. I have never had a prime rib sandwich served with anything except horseradish sauce, which we had to ask for a side order of. My closest guesstimate would be 2 ounces of well done prime rib with quite a bit of fat. It was the same size as one slice of deli meat. I asked the waitress if that amount was normal and she said everything is weighed. For $9.99 each we were extremely disappointed. $2.50 for an 8 oz. glass of cola with no complimentary refills. Quite pricey. I hope they recognize the error of their ways before they go out of business. I don’t like to see any business fail.
We went for breakfast and the food was bland. I ordered the Philly cheese steak omelet (something I have been cooking for years at home) and it was incredibly bland. my husband had pancakes and eggs and said they were pretty good. The omelet was over cooked and the steak was tough and not seasoned very well. the overall cost for both of us $25. which was surprising since the omelet only cost $5.99 and the eggs and pancake special was also $5.99. so the coffee and juice cost another $12??? not at all impressed with the place. I’m not sure how someone can screw up breakfast.
Mediocre Food, Slow Service, Terrible Pricing. We went there as a group of six and waited close to an hour to get our food while a party the same size came in after us and was finished eating before we got our food. The wait staff did not seem at all that our meal was taking such a long time and did not bother to provide an explanation or apology. When we finally received our meals, the food was average (except our hashbrowns were soggy). When we finally received the bill we saw that they charged us a la carte for everything we ordered (which was misrepresented on the menu). Overall I can think of much better ways to spend my time and money than eating at this restaurant.
Disappointed, over priced. We decided to try the new location since its near our house. We went for Saturday morning breakfast. The basic breakfasts seemed reasonable until we discovered that they charge extra for items that we usually expect to be included. We both finally decided on the eggs Benedict. I ordered the grits with mine and my wife took the home fries (they charge an extra .75 for hash browns?). The grits were fine, but the tiny amount of home fries was ridiculous. The hollandaise sauce was totally bland, had no flavor at all. My wife could teach their chef to make a better sauce. The Canadian bacon was the thinnest I have ever had on this dish in a restaurant. In summary, don’t go there. Its not worth the prices and they nickle and dime you to death.
Mistery Shopper. Had breakfast here on Mar.15, 2012. Very disappointed with pricing. Breakfast consisted of Coffee-1.99, 2 Eggs-3.99, Bacon-.99, Hash Browns- .75, with Onions-.50. and Tax for a total of $8.80. This is redicilous during the economy. Other places like 2002, Mrs. Mac’s, and Country Kitchen are more reasonable. Be very careful on you receipt, They are charging 50 cents for onions on the Hash Browns, But the menu does not list that anywhere. Will be going back for the 50 cent refund. Please, Please, Please read Menu very carefully, or best, DON’T PATRONIZE THIS RESTURANT.
Breakfast at the Bar. 2 times I went in to the new Grill in Miracle Mile. Both times I went to the bar and once had breakfast and the other time lunch.Service at breakfast was 65% rating. they all but forgot me. Lunch was about a 70%. They gave me about 10 small French Fries with my burned burger. Yikes!
