Disappointing. After the great reviews and memories of a good meal a couple of years ago, we decided to try sushi carry-out tonight. The soft shell crab was mealy, and the rolls, in general, were mediocre. We eat at Japanese restaurants frequently in our hometown which cater to Japanese customers, so maybe our standards are too high.
Consistently Good. The menu is a good combination of Thai and Japanese dishes. We normally go for sushi but the I tried the crispy duck soup the last time and it was wonderful. The weather has been cold and a nice hot bowl of noodles topped with generous amounts of veggies and crispy roast duck was just what the doctor ordered.
The only place in vero to compete with sumo house is Bangkok in downtown, but both are extremely good sushi/Thai restaurants, don’t pass this place up
Spicy Tuna Roll Is A GO!. Love the Spicy Tuna Roll!!! It’s so tasty and tightly wrapped. No rice will escape that roll during a dip into the soy sauce :DYummy in my tummy!
Very good. Had the lobster roll special as a shared appetizer – really great! Sushi was also very good. Great service. Would come here again.
Good food.. We both had sushi and it was excellent. Started with the very large wahoo salad and it was AhMazing! The vinegar dressing on it was light and citrusy and matched perfectly. It was so big, we should have just orderd that instead of the rolls. I like that some of the rolls can be ordered in half portions which we did take them up on. It makes it nice to try different ones. Asked for uni, however they claim that they only serve it Thursday thru Saturday nights. Bummer. Most rolls again, have cream cheese in the ingredients, and to this day I have no idea why Floridians are leading the pack when it comes to packing dairy in a sushi roll. Rolls were decent. Not over the top but not terrible either. Only thing I didn’t really like was the tv on in the dining room (all restaurants need to stop this IMO). The bathrooms were a bit dirty and the walk to get to them was very cluttered and unkept. The tables and booths were also a bit dated, but not a huge deal. Overall its a decent place….I will go back and try their thai…
Excellent! Great service and a top quality dish everytime. Great job Jack!
