As a lover of Asian food I was super excited to try the Noodle House. As far as I know it’s the only restaurant in Vero Beach that serves green papaya salad which is one of my all-time favorite dishes. As soon as I looked at the menu started to worry. Whenever you see a menu in a restaurant that attempts to cover multiple forms of Asian food from Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese to Japanese Cuisine you know you are going to be in trouble. Well indeed I did order the papaya salad and it was edible. I didn’t get sick or anything. But honestly I’m not Asian and I can make it better myself at home. My dining companions ordered from the Chinese and the Japanese portion of the menu and likewise felt that the food they were served was kind of Asian-generic. Also there is a difference between the food items served on the plate versus how they are described on the menu! It’s my opinion that this place is really no different than any of the Asian fast food style takeout restaurants that are ubiquitous in strip malls around town with the exception that the prices are much higher. And they do have a license to serve beer and wine. Definitely will not be going back to the Noodle House and I’m greatly disappointed because I was seriously hoping that for once we could have some authentic Thai food in this town and not just a generic variation of *Asian* food

My husband liked his pad sieuw with pork and the fried snapper in chili sauce special was a huge portion over vegetables served in its own tray over sterno and a side of white rice. They did apologize about the mixup with our order and comp a desert. For the food alone, we’d certainly come — big menu with sushi too — and decent prices for portion sizes…

They don’t act like they are TRAINED how to treat people. It seems to come natural to them. The service and the food are the best in town. And trust me, my husband LOVES sushi. been to all of them. The food is ALWAYS fresh. And the owners treat you like you’re family. We enjoy going there every time. Took my parents there when they came for a visit from South Carolina. Even my dad was very impressed. And he’s not an easy one to impress. If you have never eaten at the noodle house, you should try it. You will not be disappointed!
Excellent food an experience overall! I had the Sushi Appetizer and the fish was fresh and tasty. Then I had the Chicken Pad Thai which was a good size portion and very flavorful. My only complaint would be that the sushi rice was a little sweet for my taste, but it was still very good!
The noodle house was absolutely wonderful! The food was prepared in just the way i wanted, and the server even double checked! The sashimi is excellent and the Unagi was the best ive ever tasted. Happily surprised by this little establishment and service was great! Bento box was so big it was like chirashi don! Amazing food, excellent quality and service!
Outstanding, becoming my favorite spot for lunch. So far all the soups have been super.
Pleasantly surprised. Service was great. We got some sushi, noodle bowl, and crazy noodle. All were great. Finished off with Thai donuts. Really nice place. Very reasonable prices. Recommend.
