We were a party of six and we were seated promptly at our reserved table. After that, the night went down hill. Our server was friendly but not knowledeable about the menu offerings. I ordered a cava before dinner and I was brought a glass of white wine. The server didn’t know that cava is a sparkling wine. And I suppose that the bartender didn’t know either. I ordered the daily whole fish offering — hog fish. It could be prepared any way and I opted for grilled. I got a burned fish.Others at the table didn’t get parts of their orders. The setting is lovely — a beautiful beach view. I won’t return.
Nice location and tasty food!. Here is another restaurant with a great view, great food and an attentive staff-what a concept and it actually works. I had the jambalaya as did my dining companions-portions were good sized and coupled with a tasty salad-met my expectations. Positive experience. Give it a whirl!
Great service with a view. We went for lunch to celebrate my son’s communion. Party of 8. Our server was AWESOME constantly vigil if we needed anything. The food was delicious. For apps, we had the mussels, calamari, tostadas with scallops & crab cakes. All was yummy. Crab cakes small & not shareable. Entrees: jambalaya, grouper, Mahi Mahi, coconut shrimp, seafood pasta. Will definitely be back!
Our first time there was great.. just did the sunday bunch. .. we will be back again..
Sunday Dinner. It was good. Suggest staying away from the fish trio if you are hungry, not enough food for $26.00. Conch fritters are great and the bread was excellent.
The Sunday Brunch is out of this world! The view is one of the best views on the coast!
Celebrations Not Welcomed. Let me just say, if you are wanting to celebrate a special occasion, this is not the place to go. I planned a 60th birthday dinner for my husband with 10 of our friends. It was a Sunday evening at 6:00 and apparently we were disturbing all of the gray haired, grumpy old people. Obviously their business was more appreciated than ours and we were approached by a young woman, who I assume was the hostess before we were able to order a drink. She did not introduce herself and said, that a few guest had asked to be moved. WELL, MOVE THEM. We were seated on the top level all the way to the wall of the restaurant at the north end. The restaurant was maybe half full, so plenty of other seating was available. We felt like we needed to whisper. Not exactly the evening I had in mind for my husband. If we had not arrived in an SUV Limo and had not been on a time schedule we would have taken our business elsewhere.(Probably across the street to Caps, where I will be going from now on) The server did a fine job and when I told him we would need to leave by 8:00, he said, that would be no problem. We were out on time, but none of us will be returning. There is always someone’s voice that carries more than others, I understand, but do not think the situation was handled appropriately and did not feel valued as a customer.
