Good place for lunch or dinner, but a bit expensive for breakfast. Quality of food is good and service is good. We eat dinner here often when we are staying at our condo.

Alfie’s is a stand-by as a local restaurant. They are family owned and community oriented — always promoting one charity or another. They have a rewards program which gives discounts for birthdays, anniversaries and other special events. Now for the food! Their food is always good, fresh and moderate in price. It is true that many seniors frequent this place, perhaps because they offer many daily meal specials and seniors like to eat their main meal early. But what difference should that make to anyone? — grey hair and wrinkles are not catching!!! The wait staff is always pleasant and the chef will cook anything the way you like it. I’d call it more of a family restaurant with something for everyone. I would recommend trying the haddock dinner or sandwich, clam chowder, flat iron steak (which can be cut with a fork!) and burgers. Another plus, there is a view of the ocean from every table.

My wife Barb and I ate there Sunday night 08/23/15. always a stop coming back from traveling. Mark is always welcoming and friendly. Thomas was extremely polite and quick with everything. The Big fish portions are unbelievable.

Crabcakes With Fries And Coleslaw. Lots of great flavor. You could see the crab and shrimp in the cake.

Jewel of the Beach. My husband and I have been going to the Ormond Beach area for vacation for the last 10 years, and we ALWAYS stop at Alfie’s on our way home for breakfast. The delicious, home cooked goodness keeps us coming back every year. This year, however, we decided to go there for lunch during our stay and we were not disappointed. We had the haddock sandwich, with fries and cole slaw and it was HUGE AND DELICIOUS!!!! Alfie’s never disappoints and we recommend it to all of our friends! We will be back!
