I’ve been going to the Stockyard for years but just recently they’ve started breakfast and it is AMAZING you’d think they were a mom and pop shop that you hear about all the time. Simple incredible breakfast. Other than that OUTSTANDING WINGS esp on Wednesday when they are discounted (i tend to gorge myself) Love their atmosphere and their service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Had a Friday night dinner here with friends that are Deland retirees. For a normally busy night, we were seated immediately at a comfortable table in the dining room to the left of the entrance (props for being close to the bar!). The mahi-mahi, along with the asparagus and twice-baked potato, was great. Fiance had the prime rib and was pretty pleased. Portions are huge… enough for dinner and lunch the next afternoon. Waitress was accommodating and very friendly, too. Overall, it’s a little pricey, but from what I hear, there aren’t a lot of choices in this town. mybakingheart.com
GOOD FOOD WITH GREAT SERVICE AT A REASONABLE PRICE. We dine here frequently and have not been disappointed with the quality of the food , or the service. I highly recommend the filet, but have a close second with the porter house steak. The stuffed mushroom appetizers are a family favorite. the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, and has historical ties to the growth of Volusia county. the Sunday brunch is a good value with a large selection for a reasonable price.

Poor service. We ate at the Deland Stockyards on Friday March 13th. It was our first visit as we had heard good reports about it. THE SERVICE WE HAD WAS VERY POOR. WE DID NOT RECEIVE OUR BREAD at all. NOR OUR SALADS UNTIL AFTER THE MEAL HAD BEEN SERVED. WE HAD TO ASK WHY WE DID NOT GET OUR SALADS. WE ALSO ReQUESTED GLASSES OF WATER AND HAD TO REQEST A SECOND TIME BEFORE WE RECEIVED THEM. We ordered prime rib an 8 oz and 12 oz ones and they were thin and stringy with a lot of fat. They were not nearly the quality we are accoustom to at that price.
Great steaks. Have eaten there several ttimes now..have never been dissappointed.
Bar staff aweful. Charlie bartender…has a bad temper.. we were eating at a table and we saw him yelling at 2 guys.. where was owner.. or manager..then we saw him give out free drinks.. wow.. they ned to get rid of this guy… I have been coming here for 2years.. and charlie.. needs to go
