Great place!. We have been there many times and enjoyed each time. The staff is very good and if the owner is there she always comes over to greet us. She waits tables too and appears to be always working hard. The owners seem to be involved with the community and local sports, and allowed my daughter’s Special Olympics group to hold fundraisers there. Much better than the Beef’s on the parkway where on 2 occassions we observed the owner/manager being loud and rude to both customers and waitstaff in the dining room.
Couldn’t help but notice V-towel’s review had to throw in the race card – just sayin’. We find that Beef’s a great place to eat. Good food and friendly service. Have eaten there many times with no complaints – but I guess it’s because we’re Scottish-German Americans.
Awesome Place!. Our family has eaten here many times and always had great service and wonderful food. Quite often the owners are at the restaurant and will stop by your table and say hi! The new game room is especially fun for the kids and really reduced the wait for a table!
Great Experience. I visited the Wakulla County Beef o Brady’s and found the service and food very good. Everyone was very friendly and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a good meal and a good time.
Discrimination & Poor Customer Service. I am an African American female and my brother and I went to join some friends on 5/18/12 at the location in Crawfordville, FL owned by Dole & Julie Slayton. We ordered an appetizer and it was cold when it arrived and we requested a fresh order when the server returned with the new order it was totally different from first order and missing key ingredients. I asked to speak with manager; a gentleman came out and I explained my issue and asked if we could order something else off menu. He informed me that I could but he was not going to comp the order that we did not eat or was not satisfied with. He was very rude and made me feel as if my money or our presence was not welcomed in his establishment. After much discussion a young lady came out to inform me that she was the manager that is when I found out the the gentleman was the owner (Dole Slayton). My brother and I paid our bill and left. I would not recommend this establishment to any African American. I AM DEFINITELY NOT A RACIST because the couple we joined the guy is like a brother to us and he and is date were CAUCASIN I was never raised to look at color of a person’s skin. When we left I received a call from my husband informed me that the Wakulla Sherriff had called our home to request that I return to Beef O Brady’s they assumed that I had hit someone’s car when we left the establishment. But it was not me and my brother it was our friends that we were with that had accidentally hit someone’s car. The Sheriff called my home several times to request that I return to the establishment. I did and all he wanted was to know the name of the couple that was with us. But I felt that both incidents were handled very improperly and both the owner of Beef O Brady’s and the Wakulla Sheriff officer treated me and my brother unfair and violated our rights. I would not recommend that any of my friends, family, or co-workers visit this establishment.
