  Good EnoughRiverside Cafe is nice and our server was very friendly.We started with the smoked mullet appetizer which was very good. I moved on to the fried oyster dinner, again very good. The wife had the gumbo which was pretty good. Nothing was particularly a standout. Everything was solid to return if in little St Marks.

  Have been there 5 times in the last year and it has been sub par each time but tonight was the straw. Waited for what seemed like forever for someone to take a drink order. Finally got a beer and a dozen steamed oysters. No half shells just a blob on a plate. That was it waitress never returned waited 40 min went to find her paid $25.00 for crap food and crappier service will never return

  Worst service ever. For starters it took over 30mins for my 4yr old to get her chocolate milk, she was drinking our non free refill drinks during that time. then it was chilly and being that my two small girls were cold i asked if they could turn the heater on, the young lady i asked rolled her eyes, then about 20mins later finally an attempt which failed, they finally turn one on but instead of asking us to move closer to it they move a couple near it (a younger couple mind you) i asked if they could move us to the room where it was warmer, 20 mins later they inform us that my party of 5 can squeeze into a booth. we arrived there at a lil before 6pm and didn’t receive our food until after 7:30pm. my husbands plate alone was almost $30 and it was ice cold. prior to us getting our food waitresses were making slick remarks about chicken (which my oldest daughter ordered) takes time to cook, it don’t take an hr and a half to fry 12 wings. which also were cold, everything we received was cold and stale like they scraped it off other ppls plates, attention was brought to the waitress who said she would see what she could do, NOTHING then the manager who insulted us with a free dessert to share…we spent $120 she gave us a $10 discount which might be the amount of food we actually ate. cold food, our baked potatoes were not even cooked! long wait, horrible service and lack of care, then to top it off she was overheard by my husband talking bad about us. This was so upsetting to me as it was my first real outting since I had to have multiple surgeries and what was meant to be a great night with our family became a disaster. being that none of us could bare to really eat our rather pricey meal i had to take my children to McDonalds when left and spend even more money so that they could have a hot meal. so disappointed!!!!

  The blackened fish sandwich is their signature sandwich so I ordered it cause I really wanted some good fresh seafood. My advice—DON’T!!!’ Worse sandwich ever–all roll and a minuscule amount of fish. Waitress forgot to order our appitizer. They compted us a couple of beers because of bad food/service but wasn’t enough to make up for the very bad experience. Won’t b back!

  Ugh!. Nice if you want to look at the water and drink. For food….prepare to get a grip! I took my sister and brother-in-law to try to impress. Not to happen. We had a simple lunch and didn’t get done until 3 hours later! My relatives were on their way back down south and just wanted to visit and grab a quick lunch. For the amount of time we spent waiting, I could have driven them to Angelo’s and back and really impressed them! I don’t really understand the delay. It wasn’t very busy at all that day. And the service?….Nuf said.
