Went here because it was close to our vacation home. Dirty with average service and lousy barbeque.
HOLE IN THE WALL GREATNESS!. The best barbeque place i have found! Best baked beans ever! My husband had the beef brisket sandwich and he was in love with!
Simply the best. BBQ is great. Gumbo is great. I love this place. My only complaint is the french fries. They go soggy within about 2 minutes. Wish they had crinkle cut or steak fries. Thats ok though they offer other great sides. The potato salad is awsome and I love the corn nuggets. Overall, I give them a 10. I will be seeing you there.
Wonderful BBQ. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! This place has great BBQ and their potato salad is to die for! On Thursdays they have barbecue nachos that are enough for two on their own! I only wish they would give more sides with their meals though. It always feels like you get an exact amount of fries or salad and not one bit more and it really makes the baskets seem empty. Definitely a good place for BBQ!
Bright, lively Place with good BBQ. Friends took me to the 98 which is in a strip mall. Server was great and had some real good suggestions. Even let me sample one the chef’s special dishes before I ordered it (Praline and bread pudding). How often does that happen??? I had the pork ribs which were heavenly. They use hickory and throw in pecan and apple wood when they can get their hands on it. The Jambalaya was also outstanding. The Onion Rings were piping hot and oh so good. The pulled pork sandwich was melt in your mouth variety. Great place for a good BBQ just off 98 before you get to Santa Rosa Beach.

Food was better than we expected. Restaurant is in a shopping strip mall but the ambiance was perfect. Service was exceptional. We had ribs, brisket, and grilled chicken sandwiches. All was very good. Corn fritters were wonderful. When staying at Topsail State Park, we will go back each summer for the BBQ.
