Loved, loved, loved it. Very relaxing ambiance and the decor is beautiful, clean and crisp. Service was A+. My mom and I split the pear salad and ordered the ahi tuna and the vegetarian special for our entrees. Everything was absolutely delicious. Kudos to the chef. We both agreed that we need to add this restaurant to our must-dine list when we are in the area. Looking forward to dining here again!

One of the greatest restaurants I’ve ever been to!. My husband and I came here for Valentines day and from the moment we walked through the doors to the moment we left, we were incredibly impressed. The location is beautiful. The service was impeccable, friendly, and very attentive. The decor and atmosphere was simple but so classy without feeling stuck up (like many nice restaurants do). The food and drink made me actually stop and savor what I was tasting and fall in love with flavors I’ve never known. I would HIGHLY recommend this fine dining establishment not just to those in the Destin area, but to anyone who loves feeling completely satisfied with life all because you decided to go to the right place for dinner.
We ate there last night and it was so good! The crab beignets are out of this world and the tomato and smoked bacon bisque was freakin fantastic!!

Our favorite restaurant in Destin! Has been consistently good every time that we have gone. It’s a must try. Can’t mess up by choosing the ribeye, filet, or fish!
Wine Fest Weekend. My fiance and I were in Sandestin for the annual wine tasting and expected that the restaurants around Baytown Warf would be busy. We tried to get reservations after the second day of the tasting around 6-6:30 and we were not able to, and we made 8:15pm reservations, which were the earliest we could get. We arrived at the restaurant several minutes early and were told we could wait in the lounge, so we went as directed to it, and found it to be the size of a large bathroom, and very full of patrons so we waited outside. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our table, which was not too bad, for how busy the night was. The restaurants interior is nice with casual enough undertones so not to make us uncomfortable in our laid back vacation clothes. Our server was quite nice and was attentive, getting our drink orders right away and coming back for our food order once everyone had put their menus down (I just hate it when I am clearly looking over the menu and a server keeps bothering me asking for my order). We ordered our food without any difficulty, but the appetizers took an inordinate amount of time to come out, but we did not mind since we were having good conversation. The problem arose when my soup came out just minutes after my appetizer and we had been sat at a 4 top table and with 4 adults each with food and drinks, we had to shuffle everything to accommodate the extra dish. The soup I ordered was French onion and as customary, it was covered in cheese which holds the heat in pretty well (I have had several scorched tongues from it in the past) and could have sat in the kitchen while I had my appetizer and kept to temperature fairly well. Having a good expeditor in the kitchen would have helped I think, but so would having a server who understands that the kitchen is backed up and will have them hold off on second courses in order to allow enough time to eat. I admit that I expected more from one of the flagship restaurants of Sandestin, particularly for the premium they demand for their food. All the food was quite good, the Lobster spring rolls (I would call them summer rolls since they are not fried only the lobster is) are very good, and something I could eat several of for dinner by itself. The French onion soup was one of the best I have eaten, and since I order it almost every time I see it on a menu, I have eaten a lot of it. My entre was the Painted Hills Farm N.Y. Strip and it was perfectly cooked to temperature and wonderful. It came with fried asparagus, also as good, but the truffle-bacon macaroni was just macaroni……not really the proper side for such other star performers and was really outclassed on the plate. My fiance had the Grouper Almandine and my taste of it was a real winner and same for the Bijoux Crabcake one of our friends had. Ok, so what is the verdict? Well mixed would be a fair assessment, on one hand the food was just shy of over the top excellent marks, the mac and cheese did pull it down a notch, and on the other the service was a little erratic. Yes I am a bit of a food snob, but take it to heart, I am even more critical of my own cooking. Would I go back? Hell yes! This place has great food! Maybe someone called in sick. Give it a try; I think you will like it.
