Had another great meal!! We have never been disappointed over the last two years. Great by the bottle wine list.
We ate here for dinner two nights ago and absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was romantic and cute. It is a small restaurant so we made a reservation. Our server was great. We had the Brie appetizer and it was delicious. I had the tango fish with snapper and loved it and really liked the veggie side dish too. My husband loved his fish too. He had the dancing fish with snapper. We highly recommend Cafe Tango!
Absolutely loved this place! My wife and I had the snapper; her’s prepared Dancing, mine with pistachio. Superb. We are both foodies and would highly recommend this wonderful establishment.
Fine dining on 30-A. My girlfriend and I really love this place. Make a reservation because they have very limited seating. The food is excellent, and even though they had a full house when we were there, the service was still very attentive. Many people go for the steaks, which are terrific, but the Basque fish is to die for, and very reminiscent of Northern Spain. Desserts are great too. There are too few places on 30-A anymore that really justify the $$$$, but this is definitely one of them.
Not a Fan. For our anniversary, I read all the reviews and poured endlessly over menus and chose Cafe Tango. I’m a really good cook and so we don’t eat out often, preferring to entertain at home, and this was supposed to be a VERY special treat. Our server was SO sweet, and we didn’t complain because we aren’t complainers. The salads were overdressed and the fish was underseasoned and weirdly sauced so that it was both bland and overpowering at the same time. I usually like to give a restaurant a few tries before I review, but we can’t afford to go back. I’ll cook my snapper in beurre blanc at home next time.
Fair at best. This restaurant has a peculiar odor. The smell reminded me of a old home. That set the tone upon entry. I had The Dancing Fish. While the fish itself was fine, it lacked in flavor. I even questioned whether or not the chef had actually added the jalapeno cream sauce. It was very bland. I wish I had spent my money elsewhere.
Maybe the best steak I have ever tasted.. My wife and I had dinner here last Thursday night and I have to say it was outstanding. I had the rib eye with Foie gras and it was probably the best steak I have ever tasted. As a local we dine at Seagar’s often and I have always thought they were the hands down the best in the Southeastern US for prime steaks. My wife had the baked snapper which was also superb. We love the restaurants on 30-A and Cafe Tango is one of the best.
