Best smoked tuna dip around… beats Harbor Dock’s, Destin Ice, and Skippers. Although they all have great versions of tuna dip, Cocoon’s wins the championship belt.A lot restaurants and markets, on the panhandle, buy from a Pensacola-based company that specializes in making and packaging an old smoked tuna dip recipe. If Cocoon’s is buying from them, they are doctoring it up prior to sell. Not sure if it is 100% homemade at Cocoon’s, but it doesn’t matter to me.Can’t wait to stop in and try breakfast and lunch from the deli.
I just keep coming back!. This place has a ton of specialty items, its very cheap, and its a welcoming atmosphere type of place. I will admit that parking isnt easy to find here, and it doesnt seem like it has much sitting are, but for those who dont mind- there is an outside sitting area and its quite nice. I became addicted to this place in 2012 for the marvelous cinnamon rolls that are created here. Its great for any meal.
Make this an early stop and stick up on all your lunch foods so you can stay on the beach longer! The BEST smoked tuna dip on 30a! Great BBQ and all the deli case items are delicious, especially the artichoke salad! And great staff too!
This place has the best bbq sandwich, definitely a place to go when you’re looking for something different at the beach. its not a fancy sit down restaurant so if you’re wanting that experience, go somewhere else.
I was looking for good brakfast at a good price in walking distance. This was it, breakfast bagel was big and had whatever I wanted.
Smoked tuna dip is the best I’ve ever tasted. Lunch specials are the best deal around.
Place smells, feels and looks dirty. Food less than so-so.
