We had the best time eating here on our vacation. In fact, we went back for more! The service was excellent, no crowds, and the food was such a refreshing break from the casual, same ol’, same ol’ style sushi we’re used to. Sam (the Sushi Chef) taught us about all different kinds of fish and even different types of sushi dishes. My husband was even inspired to expand upon his sushi comfort zone….trust me, doesn’t happen often! The Hilton Tower was something I’m still craving every meal. In addition, the presentation was impressive. None of that cheesy, played-out decor (like glowing orchids) but actual real edible tasty veggies, seaweed, and some other stuff I didn’t dare to ask about. Sam poured his heart into every order whether the folks were watching or not. We, however, were visually stalking him from the bar. He was patient with our questions and guided our choices in the most perfect way! I think we ate everything they had, lol! Not sure if he ever gets a day off, but we sure were glad he didn’t get Tuesday and Thursday off that week! We’ll definitely be there next year! Hilton, will you build a Hadashi in Louisville and bring your Chef up here? Phenomenal!
