We used to go there during their first year open and really like it. Went there last night and it was terrible, very poor service and incredibly way over priced. Started with the wedge salad, $10.00 that was less than 1/8 of a head with cheap bacon bits out of a jar from 7/11. Then went down hill from there. My wife’s fillet was about the size of a silver dollar. She ordered it medium rare and it came raw. We told the waiter when he finally showed back up after about 15 minutes with a very bad attitude and took it back,when he returned it was a piece of burned up charcoal that was tougher than leather. I ordered the grouper w/ crabmeat, it came with no crabmeat but a couple of tiny shrimp and about a cup of water on the plate. I assume it was frozen and heated in a microwave. Nice for about $100.00. I’ve better food from a gas station.
Food is way overrated. We went out for a romantic evening ordered the grilled Mahi Mahi and it was so bland my boyfriend had to eat with onion rings…He isn’t one to complain..I ordered the filet mignon and I had to eat it with ketchup! The food is too overpriced!
Wonderful white table cloth dinner. The staff was nice and helpful, and the food was great! I loved that they had small plate portions. The shrimp and grits was the perfect size for me!
CFO. We have been to Marlin Grill many, many times and have never been disappointed. We have had almost everything on the menu and one is just better than the other. The service is top notch (not easily found these days) and the quality of the food is as good as we have had anywhere. We especially like the bartenders who are always pleasant and cordial and serve up the best martinis. Would recommend to all!
Wonderful!!!!. This was one of the best meals I have had on vacation in a long time. Had the smoked salmon app. And it was amazing, wedge salad with blue cheese, and filet Oscar style for entree. My steak was cooked perfectly and they didn’t skimp on the lump crab either. Ours was a wonderful experience. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back!!!!!
Great food & service, nice atmosphere. Duck was awesome as well as grouper, steaks, & kids’ crab cakes.
