Friendly little market. Staff were very sweet. they make a great mimosa as well!
Upscale market–great deli. I love coming to Seaside just to go to Modica–I aways pick up a muffin or bread for breakfast the next day. I love their cereal offerings–it’s where I discovered Britain’s Dorset Cereals. When Whole Foods dropped Dorset Cereals–I had to get my supply from Modica. They have great deli sandwiches and salads. You pay a bit more there, but it’s worth it. I understand the original folks who run the place are from BIrmingham and made a big commitment to Seaside when it was conceived. They are wonderful and friendly. Add to their success and you enjoyment of the coast by stopping to shop there–it’s got golden treasures hidden on those walls!!
HOw can u not like this cute old fashioned market?Unique specialties like 2 foot long pasta noodles, Italian wedding cake with four layers of yummy..Go – grab picnic fixings And enjoy
This small, cozy family market is a tradition in our family. They have wonderful baked goods an it’s a nice breakfast treat if not a little overpriced.
Biased Review. I live around the corner form Modica Market and know the owners. However, I am a Foodie and write a blog 30AEATS, so if it was not good, I would say so! From Gulf Breeze to Panama City you will find nothing like Modica. They carry a wide variety of specialty products from around the world, like fine wines, beer and cheese, to locally grown produce, hand cut meats and fresh baked goods. You will want to spend your time here, taking in all the goodness, and leave inspired to be creative in your kitchen! If not wanting to cook, they have fresh items in their deli case which change daily, and are ready to take-out or eat on their patio. The owners are on-site, and provide service with a smile and even a hug.I recommend the hand cut steaks, the chicken salad from the deli, Modica’s own wine label, and specialty olive oils.
Truman’s corner market!. This is a wonderful little market with an eclectic selection of gourmet and everyday foods. Also a nice selection of baked goods and prepared items for carry-out. It is on the pricey side but then again that is true for just about everything in Seaside. And if you have seen the Truman Show this market is in one of the scenes. Enjoy!
Seaside-Gourmet Grocer w/ excellent food. This place is a must see. Very Retro store. Tiny grocery has everything you forgot plus it is a foodie’s dream.. You will find condiments and items in hear you would never find where I am from. : )Lot’s of in store prepared food that is fabulous! yeah Publix has everything. But Modica Market is a treat!
