We were leery of eating here due to the other reviews, but took a chance anyway because we were ready for something besides seafood. Everything was amazing! The queso and salsa was pretty tasty. All of the enchilada plates were great. The fijatas could have had more meat, but they had great flavor.
This place is great! We have dietary restrictions (no gluten) and they made a chicken quesadilla on a corn tortilla instead of flour with no problem. Great, friendly staff. Clean. For everyone in Albany, LA who misses our beloved Bistro’s, this place will make you happy! Good portion sizes for a good price! Kid friendly and pleasant atmosphere.

Service was good. Food was ok. Didn’t like the pepper based meat. Most Mexican dishes I have had do not have this black pepper feel. Overall a good meal.
