Great little shrimp shack. Perfect place to get some good ole seafood… Nothing fancy, just fresh. I had the ruby reds and my husband had the lobster tail. Both were great! Bonus: we lived sitting in the gazebo on the beach!
Give this a pass. Old tasting shrimp with no seasoning. I thought I was being picky, but my son said it was bad too. Servers not helpful and the menu is confusing. Go somewhere else.
Haters gonna hate.. This little place sits right on the beach in the center of Seaside. We stopped in for a quick lunch and couple of beers. I had the shrimp salad sandwich, while my lady friend feasted on their lobster roll. Both were pretty damned good, but overpriced. Hard to complain though, considering the central location and beautiful view. never-nervous.com
Went here twice on our trip to Seaside. We visited it twice because of the amazing view from their beach pavilion, certainly not for the food. The first night we had a pound of peel and eat shrimp and crawfish. Both were very bland. Being from Alabama, I expect a lot from my crawfish as far as flavor and spice. In fact, they were over cooked. The beers that night were warm, not cold. We decided to visit again and give it another try because of the beautiful view. I ordered the gumbo, lobster roll, and half pound of crawfish. My husband ordered the gulf shrimp once again. My gumbo had a great flavor, but it literally only had TWO shrimp! TWO! One of which was one of those mini frozen suckers. My lobster roll was filled with lobster! I just ate it off of the bun because the bun added nothing to it. It wasn’t dressed or anything. Crawfish- same bland over cooked story. My husband’s shrimp should have been cooked a little more. My advice, go here simply for the view!
Bland. Overpriced. Don’t get the lobster roll. Its a joke. But my wallet sure felt it. But the view was nice.
Where It’s Not Free to Look. Just like some of the other beachside restaurants, it’s not the food that draws you or your wallet here, it’s the view. While the food is okay and the service quite good, it’s an expensive place to eat. Next time we’ll get something from the food truck and eat at on the beach.
It’s too expensive for what you get – but what you get includes LOCATION! Who doesn’t love vacationing in Seaside?
