Visiting for spring break . Went on a Monday evening , place was very quite but food was very good. Steamboat burger was juicy and flavorful and bun was toasted perfectly . They are a cash only establishment but they do have a ATM on site
Chz Burger. Best hamburgers in town
Not good, service isn’t the best food is not good and actually over priced for the quality. The AC seems to not work or if it does its not very well. Also I’ve been there in the past and all the sudden they don’t take credit cards now? Two thumps down for me and I grew up in this area my whole life.
Fantastic gumbo. This was our first visit to Steamboat Bar and Grill. I was a little unsure about it at first and like a previous reviewer stated, you do seat yourself. However we were greeted and served in a timely manner. The gumbo was fantastic. Our party also had the grouper sandwich both fried and grilled and both loved them. I had the shrimp that was wrapped in bacon and stuffed with jalapeno and cheese with the sauteed vegetables and it was good also. Not much for the decor, but the food was good.
Larry Ray. We have been to the Destin area many times and have never stopped at the Steamboat. I was here in September and did stop in. I was very glad I did. The food was absolutely wonderful! The lady who waited on us was very nice and presented great service. We are currently in Destin and are heading to the Steamboat. Cannot wait! YUM!
Best little seafood place in the Destin area!. Located in a strip mall in Santa Rosa Beach…this was a big surprise when we stumbled on to this place. We were the only ones seated in the place…plus a couple people at the bar….As a table of 4 was leaving we asked for menu suggestions. They said really anything was good here….and they were right! We ordered catfish (EXCELLENT!); Burgers (great!) popcorn shrimp (good)…but by far the best item was the Mahi Mahi! I’ve never had fish so good! We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! (Prices: about like any other place in the area… $10 – $16 per person)
