If you love The Fish House in Pensacola, Great Southern in Seaside (and The MeltDown), then you will really enjoy The Bay. Hats off to Jim for finding a great waterfront location for locals and tourists to easily access by watercraft or car. Try the sushi, edamame hummus, Bomber Burger, Tamales and the wonderful fresh fish with pesto. Indoor and outdoor dining. Sandy beach for kids to run around. Family friendly. Nice bar. #30AEATS
After 8 years of coming to Destin and dozens of restaurants, this is my favorite so far. Everything but the ketchup is made in house. I highly recommend and will go again.
Best sushi I have had in years. We live just over the bridge but this is not why we eat here every week. My favorite staff is Tish and Todd who makes the best strawberry margarita. As far as food, just order anything on the menu, you can’t go wrong. Did I mention best sushi ever? Loved Valentines Day menu, it was mouthwatering. When you see so many locals dining here every day you know this is the place.
The sushi at The Bay easily rivals Harbor Docks – which is saying a lot! Love this little waterfront spot.
Best Restaurant in South Walton!. The view is just the icing on the cake! Fabulous food! Love the Lobster Sandwich, the Bay Burger, the Thai-Mollys, Pesto Snapper and the best crab cakes in South Walton (see photo)! I live here and eat at The Bay at least twice a week!
Most amazing food ever. I travel a lot for work and get to eat at many amazing restaurants, yet one of the best ever lied right here at home! After everyone raving for months we finally tried it in spite of it being in the middle of nowhere—WELL WORTH THE DRIVE!!! Faux YaYa and 2 sushi rolls which competed well with our favorite sushi restaurant! New fave place!!!
Open late on Christmas Eve!!??. Thank you owner (I’ll spare name dropping), for keeping family that should be home with their loved ones, working late for the few drunks left at your restaurant.
