Enjoyable meal and experience. This was my 2nd visit ever to a CA Pizza Kitchen, after my mediocre 1st visit to a location in San Diego, CA I had wrote them off. While at the Wellington Mall we decided to give them a try as my date said she loves this chain. I honestly approached skeptically but upon arrival we were immediately seated at a high top table near the open kitchen. Service was prompt and friendly and we were given ample time to browse the menu without being rushed. Being a chili head the habanero carnitas pizza had my name on it, my date went with the fish tacos after hearing some of her friends mention how good they were. We also tried one of their new signature cocktails (Citrus Adobo Margarita) which was actually very impressive and tasted great. Our meals arrived in a timely fashion and our waitress was very quick to bring us some additional sides of salsa. The habanero salsa had an impressive bite to it for coming out of a chain establishment. My date enjoyed her tacos and all in all we had a good dining experience. I would recommend to others and will likely return as I was impressed by their gluten free menu and the ability for customers to order online.
1st visit to CPK ordered BBQ chicken pizza and cheese pizza for my 4yr old – cheese pizza was like thin flavorless paper and the BBQ ck pizza was tasteless and but maybe that was because it was cold! Don’t waste your money at CPK only go if someone gives you a gift card!
I was not impressed by the pizza here at all. I’d choose Lutina’s over this place any day.

I rarely stop and eat at food chains nowadays but I was in the mall and hungry. When I saw that they served more than pizza I was happy. Immediately the Tuscan hummus caught my eye and it was decided. It was a bit oily compared to the hummus I usually eat, but it was fine. The pita was soft and that was fine. The unsweetened ice tea was good. I was not amazed by it. It was food to me. The service was good. The staff were attentive and friendly.
