Cannoli and Sfogliatella. THE best Sfogliatella ever! I’m Italian and have had my share over the years from various places and I honestly didn’t know they could taste so good! Freshly made and still warm. Christmas goodness in a small package. Thank you!

Just Like Home!. Just like home! I was born in Connecticut, and I am Italian, the bread is fresh and soft and the taste is like home, the meats and cheeses and the fresh homemade sauces and the homemade meatballs and so much more all added up to heaven. It was as if I stepped through a time machine back to the 70’s. A family run place where every one know your name after the first visit, the personal touch the heaping portions the friendly service and a taste and value that is second to none, why this restaurant and deli does not have lines out the door is beyond me, it could be that the signage is not huge and glamorous, it could be that people here are not familiar with real Italian food, it could be people are stuck on commercialism, I really do not know, what I do know is this is the only place I have gone for lunch and dinner two day’s in a row! I am here for only four days as I live in the Lakeland area, but I would come here on vacation or weekend get aways just to eat their food, I even programmed their number as you can call ahead. Please do your self a favor go and see the nicest people I have met in Melbourne and the greatest food I have had in Florida since moving here in 1989. If you do not like it then you should go to the nearest medical facility and check you’re pulse to make sure you are alive! Admissions Officer. Fantastic Food…I’ve had sandwiches, salads, pizza and desserts. All were well above the norm and excellent prices to boot! Love places like this instead of the franchises. Go Cerratos!!!
Awesome food!. We eat at Cerrato’s several times a week. Arsenio and Bruce are the best, they make you feel like family! Their food is amazing! I highly recommend!
Mama Mia it’s real Italian !. We are Italian and my mom and nonna raised us up on REAL Italian food … no substitutes ! The staff at Cerrato’s is friendly in the true Italian sense of the word, where they make you feel like family when you come in the door. Yesterday we ordered the Calzone’s. They were good, fresh, and the marinara sauce thick and made with plenty of basil and garlic ! I was a little disspointed that they didn’t have the Calzone stuffed with broccoli and black olives but I bet I can talk him into making me one. We are going back to day to try out a sub for lunch. I am getting eggplant and Tim an Italian sub … will keep you posted.
