My favorite Thai restaurant in town. I’ve tried the soups, the curries, a few appetizers, the noodle dishes like pad thai and drunken noodle and I’ve yet to be disappointed with anything. Ordering the drunken noodle as ‘medium’ spicy has resulted in many different levels of heat from mild to quite hot, but it’s always delicious.
My go to food all the time! Absolutely no complaints. All the food on the Jao Thai menu including their noodle soup bowls, Thai curry’s, Pad Thai is excellently done. Totally worth the money. Nothing too fancy, but tasty, good food!

Jao is the most authentic Thai restaurant in town and, in my opinion, it blows it’s competition out of the water. They let their Thai food stand on its own without relying on having sushi or other Japanese entrees on the menu. Their lunch is a great value and will allow you to try their curry or some of their stir fry style dishes – my favorite are the basil chicken and hot chili oil chicken (which is quite spicy). They have a lot of more home style dishes you don’t see at most places, like Larb and green papaya salad with sticky rice. Would highly recommend!! I am praying for their success because many cafes seem to have fallen victim to their location.
