Perfect for the Plane-Junkie. DH & I are admitted plane-junkies, so this place has been on our restaurant Bucket list for a while. When I knew we were going to be in Miami overnight I thought this would be a great opportunity. I booked a table near the runway and really didn’t know what a treat we were in for. From the view to the headphones where you can hear the Tower, it’s a great experience. And oh yeah, the food was great too!
We asked the concierge where to go on Thanksgiving day and he directed us here. We were the only people speaking English in the restaurant and we loved every minute of it. It was a true supper club in every sense of the word and the giant planes flying by the windows kept the kids at bay. The nostalgic remembrance of the sacrifices made by the armed forces on our behalf coupled with a good bottle of wine and a turkey dinner in a foreign city has already made this a sentimental favorite holiday memory of ours.
Outstanding brunch! Osso buco, fresh omelets, chicken, all fresh and unlimited champagne.
Magnificent Sunday brunch!
We went for valentine’s day. they had a pre-set menu. we got our salad within 1 minutes of ordering, got our appetizer while we were still having our salad. the staff hovering over us to be done to bring our entree. seconds after they took our salad plates away ,our entrees were delivered,pre- cooked and warmed in a microvawe. everything was awful. it was over priced food with fast food quality.. oh yeah, they do have nice decor. thats what you pay for, not the food. yuckk
Great Vintage atmosphere. Food always amazing and the view of massive 747’s thundering down the runway at MIA can’t be beat.
I like the nostalgia that this superb restaurant gave me in its best days in the 70’s…the ambience is not what it used to be, nor the food…but it is worth a try. Their signature is the prime rib, the beer an cheese soup, onon soup. I like this restaurant do much!…for me is a nostalgia trip. It is still a twilight zone place lost in the middle of what is Miami now… You have to select carefully your order. Ask for the restaurant classics.
