Horrible Experience. Just spent a horrible evening with friends at Belle & Maxwell’s. The noise level made cross table conversation impossible. The food was pricey for what you got. The beet and goat cheese salad was mostly salad. One at our table returned the french fries as uneatable, being blacked and dried out. The waitress offered mashed potatoes or mixed vegetables and she chose the veggies. The manager came out with a scoop of mashed potatoes telling her that was the exchange. Oh, yes….and there is one BATHROOM, that is one latrine for this place. With all the good eateries in the area, management should be more on their toes. This behavior will catch up with them. We will not return.

Terrific. My wife’s new favorite by which all others are judged. Just the right menu for a neighborhood restaurant. Everything on menu was just right. The filet melts in your mouth.

Meatloaf and carrot cake for desert. The place is casual, bright, and interesting. The services was wonderful, Gina was our server, with a big smile, and help with the menu. Bill and sister Michelle, came over and introduced themselves and asked if we were satisfied. Wish I lived close by, as I would go here at least once a week, maybe more! Thanks for such a pleasant experience!!

The walnut, apple, brie baguette was marvelous with an earthy hint of nutmeg elevating the brie beyond mere buttery background. The decor is charming, reflecting the antique shop neighborhood, but with a clean, well-edited feel. The staff promptly took my order and the machiato was perfectly brewed. Very relaxing spot to have tea after a tour at Mounts Botanical Garden.

Excellent quality of food. Quaint little place. A little bit pricey for a casual lunch, but very nice. They also sell artwork and have a bakery. Unique.

Lousy Service + decent food = no thanks. Though this place has decent food, the lack of customer service and the complete lack of management’s willingness to instate any makes this the last place I will ever spend my hard earned money. If you’re considering this place, do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money.
