The menu has been updated sometime last year and the food is probably the best I have ever had here. The beer selection is mainly craft beer, which allows some of us ‘new to craft beer’ people a chance to sample some stuff before going all in on one. Adding this to the rotation of places to come with the family.
This was the best bar & grill in town until the manager Jason married the owners daughter and got the place as a wedding gift. He’s a dick through and through. Treats the guests like crap. Told his staff he wanted to shed the local bar crowd and get more upscale. It’s a neighborhood bar and grill! Not an upscale place. Libby (the bartender) and Jason talk trash about the guests as they come in. Laugh at what they look like and are totally rude. It’s a shame we lost a great place to eat and drink because Jason has a raging ego. Food went down hill and the beer went from craft goodies to eccentric crap. Avoid this place.

Waited 10 minutes had to go get our own menus. Then still no server. 2 different servers looked right us but did not come to our table. 2 other tables sat right next to ours and server immediately greeted them and still did not come to our table. Their loss!!
Waste of time!!!. Place is poorly managed sat at the bar and could see the servers and cook argue!! Food was cold sat In the window for a while! I know this because I watched it I was sitting at the bar. The nachos were cold, the cheese on the bottom not even close to being melted. Server told us be careful the plate is hot lol. Just not a good experience at all. Do yourself a favor and go to another restaurant on Old Dixie. Way better places to eat. I will never eat here or recommended this place to dine at! When the nachos aren’t good what else can be good?
Beyond pleased.. My boyfriend and I took a little get away in West Palm for spring break and we found Dixie Grill and Bar while we were there. Fantastic doesn’t even begin to describe it. Let me start out with the service. Our server was personable, friendly, and answered all of our questions. He helped me pick out the right beer for me, and I’m the furthest from a beer drinker, and I was very impressed. I decided to try the Big Rod Coconut and if you don’t like hoppy taste and a bit of a smoother taste, you’ll love it. We got the chicken quesadilla which was a little messy, but so good. For dinner I got a chicken philly while my boyfriend got the Texas burger. The fries and onion rings were crisp and the flavor of my sandwich was awesome. Apparently the burger was great too, didn’t stand a chance. If you’re coming to South Florida, stop here. You won’t be disappointed!
Australian tourist. We stayed in a motel just up the road and found this great place to have dinner.the staff where very courteous, the beer was cold, the dcor was really somethingto see and I completed the challenge, wow was it hot, we could not stay to receive the shirt so they posted it to my home in Australia. and the food is very good.what I could taste after the challenge. lmao. definitely a highlight of our holliday
Great variety of seafood. Suited all with a variety of seafood. Seared Ahi Tuna was superb! Catered to special requests. Service was outstanding. Would definitely return for an encore. Desserts were delicious.
