Wonderful dining experience!. My boyfriend and I dined at this quaint restaurant for our anniversary and were delighted by the ambiance, service and most especially the food. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the charming owner Carlos and as I looked around I couldn’t help but feel like we had truly entered a petit maison in the heart of France. Decorated for the holidays ever so slightly and with such attention to detail from the table settings to the wall art surely made our experience all that much more delightful. We each started out with a glass of Cabernet and shared the Souffl de Fromage needless to say we both couldn’t put our forks down once it arrived! The smoothness of the souffl was perfect and a wonderful start for what was to come. The night we were there was pasta night so of course we couldn’t resist. My boyfriend indulged on what he recalls the best Penna alla Vodka he’s ever had and for myself being from Maine I just had to try the Truffled Lobster Mac and Cheese. I’ve had many lobster dishes throughout the years and this was the most delectable I’ve ever had!! The lobster was simply delicious and the butter cheese sauce is something I’ll be dreaming about for weeks. Finally we cleansed our palates with a glass of limoncello which was a perfect way to complete our remarkable dining experience. If you are someone who enjoys delicious food, wonderful service and the pleasure of a delicate and beautiful atmosphere then Maison Carlos is a place you will surely enjoy and return to often I know we will!!
This restaurant wad not worth the wait! Questionable activity behind the bar, slow service (3hrs), and not to mention a birthday cake ordered/confirmed yet dumbfounded when asked where it was for our 2 bday guests of honor?? Expensive…yes…awful food…yep. Save your money! Nuevo disaster!!
