Awesome food, great service!. Hip, cool interior decor meets great service and delicious food.The servers and staff are always friendly and smiling and very helpful. The food is great and has always been consistent every time we’ve came. We’ve eaten here probably around 30 times, and have never had something we did not like. They have a great deal on tapas/appetizers during happy hour for $5, and we LOVE the takoyaki, fish tacos, and pork bun. There is nowhere else to get food like this in this area!The desserts are to DIE for… the green tea lava cake is absolutely amazing and they just added thai tea cheesecake to the menu which is also spectacular. This is one of my top go-to thai restaurants for the area.
Terrible Food and No Bathroom!. The food was terrible and nauseating for everyone in my party. Each dish had off, clashing flavors. To add insult to injury, there is no bathroom. You have to use bathroom next door at the testing center.
HORRIBLE experience. It’s all about their attitude….which really stinks.Too many restaurants within a stones throw to put up with the nonsense these folks created….to say nothing of the embarrassment.THEN.. to make matters worse…I get my Credit Card bill, and they added twenty dollars to the tip!!Did they really think I would not notice???FOOLS WITH ATTITUDES…helluva a combo.
When you can’t visit Thanburi. Simply the best Asian food between Bahamas and Honolulu. Addicted!! Try the Drunken Seafood pasta and deep fried red snapper. Choosing between the Kabotcha dessert and green tea cheesecake requires a decision that only King Solomon could make.
My New Favorite Restaurant on Clematis!. After enjoying Palm Sugars fresh Papaya Salad for lunch a few months ago, my husband and I decided to return last night for dinner. After much consideration, we both chose one of the specials: Kimchi Udon Noodle Soup with Shrimp, a delectable fusion of Korean-Japanese flavors that was simply sublime. No doubt we will be back again soon to sample more of Palm Sugars creative Asian fare!
A Real Treat. Really enjoyed lunch today at Palm Sugar. The service was excellent. My glass of sparkling wine was never empty. An interesting and healthy selection of appetizers, entrees, salads, soups and desserts. Everything was a generous portion and tasted fresh and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the selection of mini cupcakes.
