YUCK. Look, I would like nothing more than to sit here and say that this local independent shop makes better coffee than Starbucks. But then I would be lying. I am not saying that Starbucks coffee is outstanding. I am saying that until these mom-n-pop, local, independent coffee shops start making coffee drinks that ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD, then I am going to stop going to a coffee shop and blowing 5 bucks on a latte unless it’s at Starbucks.Yes, the owners here were very nice.Yes, the shop is tastefully decorated and relaxing. Yes, I’m sure the (previously mentioned by other reviews) house-made foods are great (although I did not try them).But if you are going to be a coffee shop, then you gotta know how to make coffee. YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO MAKE ALL KINDS OF COFFEE, from regular coffee to espresso to French press, etc.I ordered a latte here and it was a watery, weird tasting mess. It was awful.I would not go back. I notice that none of the reviews before mine ACTUALLY TALK ABOUT THE COFFEE.’NUFF SAID.
Loved it! The service is great, and you can tell the owners really care about their business and serving quality products. Stopped in for an iced coffee for a little caffeine boost before taking the MCAT, and I was very delighted. Toasted macaroon flavor + coffee ice cubes = coffee that gets richer with very sip. Will be back to try the food!
Excellent cappuccino! My friend got an espresso that was smooth and light. He rated it 9 out of 10. I had the protein pancake sandwich and thought it was good. The pancakes were lightly sweet with a hint of cinnamon. I’ll get it again. I’m looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in Tampa. Thanks for the experience!
Groupon Friendly!!. I purchased a groupon for Coffee EVI and went to give it a try with my wife. Wow. Not only did they honor my groupon, but they gave me credit for the balance! Now that alone makes me a fan. The food was great…my wife and I had the protein pancakes with egg and sausage MADE TO ORDER. Now that makes me a bigger fan! No plastic wrapped mystery sandwich here. Finally, the coffee was terrific. Very fresh and reasonably priced ($2.00 for a very large cup). My wife had an iced latte with almond milk…kinda of rare to find almond milk in a lot of shops. The coffee made me the biggest fan!! So there you have it, a great little place on Kennedy serving original food, great coffee, and decent prices. Oh yea, they also have free WI-FI…but then doesn’t everyone. Cheers.
Best iced coffee in town. They freeze coffee to make coffee ice cubes so your drink does not get watered down.

I had a nice visit at this quaint coffee spot. The owners are very friendly and attentive. I had great coffee and a very good sandwich called the 1475 made on fresh baked baguettes.
