There is no way the reviews shown here are from actual customers. Sandwiches are not disgusting, per se. However, website is shamefully misleading as sandwiches do not come on rolls, so much as discount hotdog buns. Hopefully they were just having an off day.

The West Tampa, Great Non-Traditional Cuban. Home made ham, home made corned beef and braised pork. What else could you ask for!
Awesome sandwiches. I stopped by recently to try this new place and was extremely impressed with the food! We had the Billy Cheesesteak, West Tampa, and Palomilla Steak Sandwich and all three were excellent. Original takes on old favorites. They used prime rib on the cheesesteak along with some quality cheese and bread. For sides we tried the mac n’ cheese and were pleasantly surprised to find smoked bacon in it, yum! We’ll definitely be back, we are hooked already!
Best Cheesesteak. I’ve had my share of Philly cheesesteaks in Philadelphia when i lived nearby years ago and the cheesesteak at Gonzos ranks right up there with the very best. I think it’s the quality ingredients, seasoning, and soft roll. The owner is a terrific guy and, even though he was busy making delicious food, he came out with a smile to say hello and welcome me. I’ll definitely go back and would like to try some different sandwiches, although it will be hard to order something different!
