We love J. Alexander’s! The atmosphere is nice for a cozy DELISH dinner. I love all their veggie sides and of course a yummy filet. But, lets be real – the highlight is their carrot cake. It is AMAZING. AMAZING! I break my 99% of the time gluten free diet for this carrot cake it is so good. I only give anything above a 4 rating if the food is REALLLLLY good and this place is REALLLLY good!
BEST CRAB CAKES I EVER HAD!!!! Guess what !! I am planning to travel from Dubai to Tampa just to have that crab cake again!!! OMG the taste is unforgettable!
This was a lovely place. My prime rib literally melted in my mouth. My mashed potatoes were delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive. I would definitely visit this place over and over again. While we waited and talked, I watched as other people’s food came out. Made me wish I had ordered more than just the prime rib. It was still worth it. Can’t wait for next time!
We’ll keep coming back. My wife & I have eaten at J. Alexander’s several times. The food and service has always been good. The only issue we had was that the appetizer section of the menu only had a few items to choose from in which none were to our liking. We will return again and hope the appetizer menu has improved.
Great fried shrimp special and fresh artichokes. Prime rib no taste but tender. Filet kabob wasn’t cooked evenly. Will try again another time.
Best service, best steak, best calamari and best atmosphere I have had in quite some time. Expensive- but totally worth it. Worth every penny of your tax dollars used for the government’s expense for my meals.
Super service. The service was excellent. From the moment we walked in the door, we never waiting for water, wine, our dinner or dessert. By far the best service I’ve had from any restaurant. And of course the food was amazing!!!
