Great!. Loon lake is one of those cafes typically meant to cater toward the offices in the same building. These sort of set ups bring to mind a dreadful feeling of poorly made cafeteria food. I was happy to discover however, that this was not the case at Loon Lake. Their sandwiches are as creative as they are tasty. I ordered the signature sandwich, the nuthatch, and found the blue cheese / pistachio combination fantastic. The sandwich was a bit heavy but besides lethargic afterwards, the experience was great.

I highly recommend taking a trip to Loon Lake …. Everything on the menu is amazing! They have something for everyone, traditional to exotic. If you are in the mood for something new try The Nuthatch, the blue cheese/pistachio spread is to die for. Another tip, the signature True Bleu Lakes dressing is AWESOME! This place is a hidden gem of the Westshore District. Enjoy.
