Overpriced mediocre food at best. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cool but bottom line I go eat for the food and 3 strikes your out in that department. Nothing I tried there was ever better than average and the prices were way above average.

We just left on a Friday afternoon. It was hopping, but we got seated right away. He ordered the enchiladas Miguel, I got the chile Rellenos, AND their signature margarita (skinny pomegranate version). Everything was great! The restaurant has easy parking behind, the bathrooms were CLEAN (important to me), there is a nice shady porch in front and a cute, sunny patio/bar in back. Our waitress was perfect.

VERY RUDE MANAGER AND HORRIBLE FOOD.. I know mexican food very well, and this food was shame on mexicans. Really I do not understand the nice comments. Salsa was not even close to a real salsa, that was not fresh, was kind of cane food.My husband did not even finish his food, and for my 15 years old girl, did not served the kids menu. The manager was INCREDIBLE RUDE!!!Very unprofessional and obviously we will NEVER COME BACK!!!!I have my own business and I always do the best for my customers. Miguel seams like do not care at all.ADIOS MIGUEL!

Horrible Service. I have been trying to make a reservation for my birthday dinner for a week and no one would answer the phone. Finally we get ahold of someone the day before the dinner and were told that we don’t need to make reservations in advance. Instead call the morning of the dinner and they would take a reservation then. We called back the morning of the event and were told that they only make reservations in advance and we should have known to talk to a manager. There was no apology about any miscommunication. The manager said we should have known. I took my party of 8 to another resturant.

Luis Garcia. This place was almost 90% mexican menu oriented. It has gradually shifted to become a real TEX-MEX cuisine, a lot different from real Mexican. You advertise it as Tex Mex, not as Mexican cuisine.

Homemade Tortillas!!!!. I came here with friends a few years ago but didnt actually eat dinner, just some appetizers so I didnt get the full experience. I feel I robbed myself by trying to eat light. Fast forward to now and we went there for dinner for a friends birthday. The hubby couldnt believe that I had kept this secret from him for so long. He ordered the Venison Milanese and was in heaven and even shared some so everyone could try (which never happens). I discovered that they make their own homemade flour tortillas, which I never noticed on the menu before somehow. They are amazing, so good that I asked for a couple to be brought to the table just so we could munch on them. Our waiter, Curtis was so attentive to our table and made sure the birthday girl had a full drink at all times as well as the rest of us. He made wonderful food and drink suggestions and was very knowledgeable. We have even gone back and asked for his section if he was working. I love the tortillas so much that I get cravings for them have actually gone during lunch and sat at the bar alone to have them, something I never do but I was like what the heck? Miguels is one of those restaurants that I get excited about taking my friends or family to. Its a Tampa must!
