Service was terribly slow, egg rolls were cold (really cold), and the Pad Thai was grossly sweet. Their spiciest flavor was barely spicy at all. All that for $50. Never going back.
The BEST thai place in Tampa hands down! Pad ke Mao aka Drunken Noodles is best I’ve ever had, spice levels are important 2 is good for me and I like spicy food. Go during lunch and soup, an egg roll and your meal are as low as 7.95 for chicken/tofu
Changes. My Co-worker and I started out in June frequenting this establishment at least 4 times a week and also started introducing it to several more co-workers; food was good and plentiful. But after a few months we started noticing the changes not only in the unprofessionalism of the staff but also the quanity and quality of food. I had to ask for the Owner(Saks) at least twice a week to get the portion of food that I was paying for. On one occassion the owner was on vacation and after ordering my normal lunch favorite, the server brought me out a very small portion to which I complained and he sent the plate back to be corrected. Once the bill came, they charged me extra witout my consent! The last straw came after the owner again was not in and I complained about the portions, this time his wife came out of the kitchen and said that she was not going to accommodate me and that in the future I would be charged extra if I did not like the portion she served! So my co-workers and I have found a Thai restaurant with better food, great service and more Thai food in portions that we can have ever imagined (Kombo Kitchen on S. Dale Mabry)
Finally!!!!. FINALLY!!! After suffering for the last 3 years with what I generously call ‘mediocre’ Thai in Tampa; the Terrace has become my new favorite place. Their Pad is the second best I have ever had (the best is sadly gone- I still miss Angel’s on capitol hill in Seattle). Too bad the Masaman is not prepared correctly. It is traditionally a beef dish and the meat must marinated over night then slow cooked for hours. Learned my lesson that if it is offered with a choice of protein, then it isn’t worth ordering.
Take Out. Don’t order to go!! I enjoy eating at Thai Terrace, but this was the first time I ordered to go. The food has ZERO love in the dish. I ordered the Pad See Eew and it was exactly what the name said, Eeewww…Also, the food seemed like it changed after being in Styrofoam. Stick to dining in and stay away from take out.
Authentic and delicious little whole in the wall restaurant!Food was awesome. Portions are big…enough to share or take home. Love this place.
Food was good, decor was nice. Service was very friendly and fast. Place was packed for lunch service. Not best Thai food in Tampa but nowhere near the worst. Good for quick Thai on Dale Mabry. Price was pretty reasonable.
