Talk about grease-pit food at its finest! This place is a throwback for me to the small NYC diners that served all-day meals! These folks are gritty but welcoming and the service is great. The food is delicious as far as comfort food goes. The layout and decor here is not what you come for; it’s definitely the food! Try their chocolate chip cookies!
Small diner in an office building that serves breakfast and lunch M-F. Clean and more modern than expected and service was friendly. Menu is diner favorites from eggs pancakes etc with daily specials. Lunch has a sizable menu from sandwiches to platters. Breakfast came out fast. Bacon was a bit thin for my taste but a good portion of food for the price. Eggs were fresh. I’d try them again but would try the sausage. foodiefrog.com
After a 2 hour delivery time the customer is wrong???? breakfast ordered at 9 delivered at 11. Ridiculous delivery time for breakfast…they were calld an hour and a half after the order to see where the food was and were told 2 more minutes….was 30 more minutes. 2 total hours!when the driver arrived, they were told too long and to keep thier cold breakfastThe owner Tony called and left a nasty msg on my co workers phone not to order food there again.since it was refusedno problem she won’tI won’t either and I order several times a week…avg 45.00 a week on Tony’s food…….no moreI am telling all my co-workers too…..and saved the nasty msg for them to hear his response to the sorry service today! There are pleanty of awesome restaurants that deliver in the westshore area!c ya!
Great lunch. I was attending a seminar at The Marriott the past 2 days. Yesterday I ate at the Marriott hotel..Quite pricy, including the tip $12 for a bowlf soup and ice tea, with no refills offered and very slow service, barely made it back to class before it started. Today a friend introduced me to Tony’s, right next door to the Marriott. I was amazed at how reasonable their lunch was..I had 2 generous sized, delicious crab cakes, a salad and a huge plate of fries…$6.95. I could only eat one of the crab cakes and my husband enjoyed the 2nd one later. The server was obviously very well trained, courteous, and the food was out in record time. My friends had various things on the menu with rave reviews. I will definitely return!
Try Them Again. Tony’s Restaurant is a rare place. Hidden from the main road, tucked behind several multi-story office buildings, everything on the menu is fresh, delicious and cooked to order. Soups simmer for hours — I recently tried the lentil, pea and butternut squash soups and wow, they are delicious. Made with fresh ingredients including sweet cream the Chef(yes Chef) labors over his creations for hours until they are just right. There are two home made soups each day along with a number of specials — try the fish tacos, monster roast beef and Chef’s salad. The Greek salad with home made dressing is so large order the mini and enjoy some of the best home made dressing you’ll find anywhere. Sign up to receive a daily menu of specials in your in box. Oder online. Why settle for less – you can have a fast, convenient lunch with great taste and affordable prices — and it’s a local eatery too!!! If you care about great food and local businesses – check out Tony’s
Just terrible!!!!!. I ordered the turkey melt on rye w/ french fries. Terrible. The turkey looked like meat , smelled like meat and tasted terrible. The fries where soggy and not fresh. A co worker ordered a burger that was dry , and the bacon looked like it had been put in the microwave and not crisy, fries also soggy. Another co-worker ate a chicken breast sandwich fried and said she feels sick. She dosent know what type of chicken meat was used. Also fries where soggy. We will never order from there again and it was extremely over priced.
Tony’s Westshore. Tony’s is the best secret in the north section of Westshore. The waitresses, cooks and counter staff are excellent at providing customer service and getting the food right the first time. If you go to Tony’s, be sure to try the fish & chips (on Fridays) and salad die hards will love the chicken salad plate. Tony’s offers good food quick, and let’s you enjoy the rest of your lunch hour.
