A great recommendation from the Cigar Pimp at Smoke on the Water. Alla Vodka and Caprese were both very good. Just shy of being great. Most disappoint…

If you came here to eat….forget about it!!!. Came here to celebrate our daughters’ 28th b-day. There was 12 of us and our reservations was for 7pm. Although we were seated promptly we didnt see a waiter for over 15 min. Our drink order was taken and took another 30 min’s to be filled and still some of us never got them and had to remind the waiter. The main order was finally taken, took over 90min’s to be served and again not all of us were served! Some of us were already finished with our food by the time one of us was finally served their main dish. Refills of drinks…forget about it!!! Never saw the waiter again, until he presented us with the overpriced bill! Because of the snail type service, we didn’t leave the restaurant until just short of 10pm (the staff was even picking up chairs and folding napkins forks and knives for the next day). I am sorry, but if I am going to have to wait that long for service, and pay those ridiculous prices, the food better be out of this world….which in this case it was NOT! First and last time I visit this place. Save you time and money you better off going to McDonalds!
Great Experience. This place is very consistent. Food always fresh and very friendly staffI have eaten there at least twice a month. Wines are reasonable and nicegravy, bread always fresh
Dinner at Acquolina June 24. I took my entire family for dinner last night because I have been in the restaurant before and it has been all excellent. Unfortunately, the experience on June 24 was not really good. My take is that either the Chef was out (because it was monday) and they had a rookie on the kitchen, or they lost their main cook.Food was different, service very questionable (we seat outside and we had to walk in once to the main room to request service).Overall, it was not a good experience. I hope it was just the night of June 24 that something was not right, because Acquolina has been an excellent alternative of good dining in a town like Weston plagued by poor to mediocre culinary options.
Let me add to my prior review something that I forgot. Part way through our meal a kitchen staffer walked through the restaurant with a trash container full of a couple of black trash bags. Not something one expects to see in any restaurant.10 Mar, 2013Nice decor, but not Italian style, more like generic American. Service was OK, but not friendly. Food was mediocre especially for the price charged. Better value and atmosphere at Vignettos close by.
Best overall restaurant in Weston. Food, Service n Ambiance. Good Pours!
Horrible service and manager who didn’t care. I went with my family on May 11, 2012 – a party of 7. This was not my first time at Acquolina’s however it will be my last. Our reservation was for 7:45pm and we were seated promptly however it took 15 minutes for our table to receive water and this was only after one member of our party as a busboy to bring water. It then took our waiter nearly 20 minutes to come to our table and when he did he said – Give me time as I am serving another table. Well another 10 minutes went by until he came back. So after sitting for 25 minutes we ordered and waited an additional 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to be served. I personally spoke to the manager and his reply was – we are busy. The manager was besides being rude was significantly unkept and a poor representation of the restaurant. As we were leaving the restaurant I told the manager he cost his waiter a tip and his response was figured. 7 people who went to Acquolina on a regular basis will not be going back and the manager simply didn’t care.
Really good Italian food with attentive service. What a great ambiance, too. Servers have great knowledge of the wine list. Best restaurant in Weaton right now.
