Simply not worth it!
Don’t waste your time. Overpriced and small,portions is bad enough but when the chef and his staff forget that food should also have flavor, it makes for a truly forgettable experience. With so many great Italian restaurants here in South Florida, D’Angelo Wine Bar &Tapas is at the bottom of the pile
Noisy and Overprice. I went there a couple days ago with my mom and sister. My sister ordered the steak she sent it back right away because it was dry I ordered pasta which felt like it wasn’t cook all the way it wasn’t tender. Then my mom just ordered a tapas which took like 25 minutes to make. It was so slow. The restraunant is very noisy and it shouldnt be for the price. Our dish was 100 dollars with the tip for terrible food and a terrible environment.
Excellent. Fresh, perfectly prepared, excellent authentic Italian food the way that it is prepared in Italy which is rarely found here. All others should take note. I have been several times, never disappointed. My only wish for change is that it was a bit more quiet. Other than that, it has been really delicious. Well done!
Chef Sassi’s menu is outstanding. Such a treat. Great food. Cool dining room. You will not be disappointed.
A bit of Las Olas in Weston. Went to this new spot recently and was a bit hesitant at first. Let me say this right off…this is not the place to drag your kids all you Weston mommies! If you want to get your mob a pizza go to Delvechhios. This is an adults restaurant…and that is a good thing. For those of us in Weston who are constantly subjected to the poor behavior and noise from every unsupervised kid in town (while their parents are oblivious to their perfect little darlings), this place is a god send.Is it a bit pricey? Yes. Is it noisy? Yes Is it crowded? Yes. But…the wine list is unbelieveable, and the food is superb. As I said, this is an adult restaurant..perfect for that night out with just you and the wife, great food, great wine, and no kids. The service was teriffic and the managers roamed the floor constantly checking all the tables to make sure everything was perfect. My wife’s Branzini was perfect, my pizza with shiitake mushrooms and tellagio cheese was wonderful. Great appetizers for sharing and just a fun environment. As I said, a bit of Las Olas in Weston, for a change. Not for every day, but fun when you need a break.
