  I went yesterday to this restaurant and had a terrible experience. I order Sobrebarriga a la criolla and an orange juice, the sauce was bitter, you can tell it was made from a can and the meat, you can not tell what it was. I was going to pay cash, but wrote on the slip by mistake. The VERDULERA waiter yelled at me because I did not gave her my credit card and took extra money from the return bill, after I wrote on the slip a more than fair tip. I confronted her and she did not know what to say, so she return the money. I imagine they are making a fortune by stealing from their eat in, take out and credit card customers.

  Good. Tried this place this week and it was pretty good. Not the best Colombian I’ve had but good. I ordered the calentado which is a breakfast that includes steak, arepa with cheese and rice and beans. It was pretty good. Also tried the beef empanadas which were not the best, but tasty. The dough was not as soft and the meat not as flavorful as others I’ve tried in other places. Cheese bread that was just made was super good. The place is clean. The TV is quite loud and can get a bit obnoxious.

  I am a Weston resident and have been to this place many times. I am sorry about the people that have had a negative experience here because this place is really worth going to have lunch or dinner. The food is awesome and the service for us has always been good. The only time it has been a bit slow is when they’re full – and this is almost everytime we go. This is a good sign. Their prices are very, very reasonable compared to the other Colombian restaurants in the Weston area – Can’t beat a $5.99 daily special that includes a full meal, including a bowl of soup!! Again, I highly recommend this place. In that same place, two other restaurants have opened and closed after a few months in business. This one is here to stay! Great authentic Colombian food, great service, and a clean and welcoming atmosphere!

  This restaurant is responsible for one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in recent memory. I asked for one item on the menu, which they didn’t have. So instead I ordered a combination of appetizers to have a decent sized meal. Among the items I ordered were some empanadas, a staple of Colombian food. I was told there was only one empanada left. I was given said empanada, but you could tell it had been reheated in a microwave by the consistency of it. The rest of my order never arrived. My family’s food did, but only after we were told we had to wait for our food like everyone else after we asked nicely if they could hurry up the very slow service, since we had to meet my grandparents. So not only is the food bad, if at all available, but the service is mediocre at best. My advice for people is to avoid this place. There are at least 3 other Colombian restaurants in the Weston area that are far better than this one.

  Excellent food!. The food and the service was excellent. i think this is the best spanish restaurant in south florida. also, there is a great atmosphere with great music.

  My who is Colombian turned me (a Cuban) on to this place! The food is home style, has great flavor and will fill you. Our friends also love this place. thank you Delicia GREAT JOB
