Absolutely the worst experience ever. They had over 10 servers and none of them were able to assist us in cleaning the spill. We basically had to clean it ourselves. Then the manager proceeded to tell us that we couldn’t bring our kids food in the restaurant because we might intoxicate them. What kind of service is this? Skip this restaurant, at this point is best to eat at mcDonalds than at Tarantella. The service will definetly be better anywhere else.
Average at best. Definitely a 2nd tier Italian eatery. Went twice and both times sub-par for Westonites
Had dinner there with my wife on 1/25/13. Would never ever go back!!!!Waiter didn’t inform us of the specials, then when asked he mumbled it off of a pad and had no idea what the cost of the dishes was. Nobody brought water nor asked if we wanted any. Decor seems as if it used to be a Mexican joint. Food is of quality of Olive Garden.
WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER. My aunt and uncle were visiting from NY and decided they wanted to dine there with me and my siblings. On the outside of Tarantella, it looks like a classy italian restaurant. Ha, NO. When we walked in, there was no one to just greet us or something for AT LEAST five minutes even though there was an empty table right in front of us! It was beyond noisy, the chefs were clinging and clacking the dishes like crazy and the tables were so crowded together it made it absolutely impossible to hear what my family was saying while at our table. The bread was disgusting, they tried putting some different flavor on it but it was mediocre and too weird. We didn’t get served our drinks until at least 10 minutes AFTER our server gave us the bread. The service was absolutely awful. They took FOREVER to give us our food even though I saw it sitting on the counter. While I was waiting, I was really freezing. It was SO COLD in there. However, it was a bit entertaining to see the manager rudely give his customers a show by screaming at his employees. Yes, his employees were working poorly, but he should have done that somewhere else in private. My food was so bland too, all i ordered was penne pasta. NEVER GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.
Tonight was the 2nd time there. its about a 30 min drive. my son was with me this time and my father.my son wants to eat there every week,if only for the garlic bread that’s comp. the food was great as well as the service both times. best italian food in florida I’ve found in 20yrs im here
I have never written a review and specially signed up to write this. Ate at Tarantella tonight and while I’ll say my Farfallette dish was really good, the terrible service had me leaving with an overall dislike of the place. We had an inattentive waitress who served every table around us, but very infrequently came by to check on us. It was a Sunday night and there were a total of 5 tables filled, so I doubt she was too busy. Oh, and she had a full on 20 minute conversation with the table behind us. When it came time to order dessert, she left us the menu and disappeared for another 15 minutes. She never refilled our drinks, which the manager noticed and did the refills himself, 3 different times. When we asked for the check, it came immediately, then our waitress disappeared in the back for another 15 minutes…to make 1 cup of coffee. Finally, the manager walked by and took our check, left it with the bartender and walked into the next room to watch a football game. I was looking at him the whole time! Waited another 10 minutes while seeing our check at the bar, then finally the bartender noticed and sent someone to give us the check. I would understand if the place was packed, but when its not too busy and I see 5 employees standing around and socializing around the bar…you gotta wonder of the food is even worth it.
