Nice European Cheese Shop. I treated my South Florida BFF and her boyfriend to an after-dinner cheese course at the aptly named restaurant the evening of September 20, 2014. We paired our Italian cheese course with a recommended bottle of the Banfi Chianti. The cheese course was comprised of Robiola, Taleggio, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses along with roasted red peppers, Tuscan honey, grapes and a sliced baguette. The cheeses were excellent along with the red wine. The only negative was both the cashier and the server that evening were not well-versed regarding either the pairing of the wines with the cheese courses, and in the case of the server, he could not identify the cheeses on our platter. A female manager arrived at our table a little later to explain the items on our cheese course but, I would think that all the employees of this type of establishment would be knowledgeable as to their cheeses and wine inventory.
Great food, nice people, oh yeah did I mention the great bread, no? Great Bread. Go, now! We purchased 2 Baguettes to take home.
Paris Bistro in Weston. I have read some of the reviews and I am surprised to hear anything negative. This place is a gem, and always puts a smile on my face. I only wish they had more room for seating, as it is a bit cramped inside..but I have met some of the most wonderful and interesting people while sitting there literally 6 inches away from their table. The food is always top quality, no matter what you arder. (The number 5 grilled chicken with pesto is a fave as is the peppers and eggs). Their fresh baguettes are to die for and I have never had any issue when I asked for help with a cheese selection. I’m not an expert and they have always been friendly, informative, quick to offer samples and helpful all around. Is the place pricey? yes, a bit, but folks this ain’t Subway…probably not the place to bring the kids for a sub…to call their sandwiches subs would be a bit like calling a Ferrari a car. The combinations and flavors are for grown ups…as it should be. How about this…Friday night, the kids are all off doing their own thing, you are hungry and don’t want to cook. Head over to the cheese course with your spouse for a cozy table, a glass of wine, fresh cheeses and meats and friendly service. Leaves you feeling warm and happy all over. Afterwards, stroll down the avenue and wonder how you could be so lucky to live here.
Great Sandwiches, but long wait. I avoid at rush times as wait not worth pricey sandwiches.
The perfect Sandwich and salad. So good. By far the best place for a nice lunch! it is consistent, ingredients are fresh, nice atmosphere. 5 stars…
My daughter and I came in to escape the rain for lunch. We had the French cheese course along with a Fat Arrogant Bastard ale. Best selection of cheeses in Weston…
I get the caprese sandwich every time because it is perfection. I also love their wine selection.
