We went to Weston Diner for breakfast. The interior was pleasant. The food was below par. The spinach and feta omelette was tasteless. Clearly frozen spinach was used. The bagel was also a frozen bagel. Pancakes were bland. Eggs Benedict were ok. The hollandaise sauce was a bit too strong in the mustard. Service was pleasant but we had to ask for more coffee. It was breakfast.
Can’t believe this place gets over 3. It’s was not very good my first time when I had a Cuban sandwich that was so-so at best. That trip was based on halfway decent reviews. No sure what my wife ordered but it was meh, totally unmemorable. Figured we were nearby so would give it another shot for a lunch. I had a chicken parm hoagie – terrible, definitely was frozen pre-made food service chicken and not the best quality. It was tough, dry and tasteless. My wife had soup and salad and the chicken soup was definitely out of a can and not the best of the cans. The fries were terrible too – tasted like cardboard mush wrapped in kraft paper. Add to this menus that feel sticky and a generally shabby feel to the place and it’s clear the owners are simply draining as much out of this place as possible before they go out of business. I believe they are associated with blue moon diner and we tried them once before learning of the connection. That’s another one to avoid. If you want a decent diner experience, try Lucile’s. Avoid this place. Maybe breakfast is better but we don’t go out for breakfast very often so can’t say.

TWICE DISAPPOINTED. Low quality food. Terribly cooked. Poorly served. The waitress just drops the terrible food and disappears. Always have to look for her to get check because they are always talking and laughing in the kitchen. I will never eat there again. This place is consistent – consistently bad.
Hit or Miss. So I like this place because it is very close to my house, the food is good (depending on what you get), and the prices are just right. I would recommend that you be cautious when ordering because they do not make everything good. Their steaks are plain bad, but their prices for those steaks are super low- so it’s expected. Try the fish and chips or the arroz con pollo (which is not cuban style, but an American version that tastes more like jambalaya, but is good none-the-less), or go for breakfast, which they in general do very well.
Best Grits in south Florida!. If you go to the Weston Diner, go for breakfast and get the grits! They are the best grits I have ever had. The mess is my absolute favorite breakfast and the Charlie’s Grouper francais is phemominal.
Big menu, good prices and good quality food.
