My Experience at Square 1. First of all I do enjoy eating outside. Seated outside and all that I could smell was the smoke of 2 people that were waiting to go into the restaurant. We were going to go inside, however, they put their cigarette out and went into restaurant. I might add that the ladies that were enjoying a beverage said that they also did not care for the smell. Went back outside and ordered our food. No one was out there at that time. Two other couples came out and sat. We waited and waited for our food. The other two couples that ordered received their food. I was not a happy camper at that point. I told one of the waiters that I could not understand how they got their food and we did not. Finally got our food. A waiter apologized and said that they would tell the manager. The waitress that took our order apologized for our wait. Said maybe because our burgers were well done? I really can’t buy that story. The manager never came out and apologized. To me that is poor management. I few times I have had this problem and management personally came and apologized. The food was good. I will give them that credit. Will I go back. Not sure. There are many restaurants in The Villages and as far as I am concerned, they really don’t want my business. Not a way I wanted to spend my birthday!
