Best Chicken Parm & rolls around!. Great Chicken Parm! Great rolls!Old fashioned Itallian restuarant, home made sauce (does not give heartburn even to my finicky friend)
Best italian food in broward. I recently had zuppa di pesce, hold the pasta. full of clams, mussels, calamari, e delicious sauce and a big lobster tail.Hard to finish it all …used the fresh rolls to soak up all the sauce. Will ask to have some fish added to the soup, next time.
Getting better every visit. Under new ownership, this Wilton manors land mark is looking better all the time. I see they have a bar now. The food portions are huge and the quality is excellent. Service is good. It has a real home town feel.Parking on the drive is always an issue but it is well worth the walk. I like that is it not some cookie cutter large chain but a quality mom and pop place.
I am still amazed as to how this place has been opened for so long. As an Italian-American, this is the sorriest excuse for Italian food ever. I have given the place numerous tries during my almost 20 yrs in Wilton Manors. It seems to get worse with each visit.
Waitress had no idea what ingredients where in the food… I felt rushed…. The food was average at best…
Generous portions. The portions at Bona are generous (though the prices reflect the size of the entrees). I tend to get the spaghetti with meat sauce and always take home at least half of it. One of the reasons I do is that I always make sure to fill up on the delicious garlic rolls–hot, fresh, and swimming in garlic oil. Yummmmmmmm.
