What a great find! The food here was fabulous and the staff VERY accommodating. This will become a regular stop for us, and I will recommend Candela to friends. Next time we’ll share our entrees though. Very generous servings. Love it!

Amazing!. This by far, one of the best restaurants in Ft Lauderdale/ Wilton Manors. The food is authentic, fresh and you can taste the passion put into the dishes! Armando, the chef, is a genius . I have rarely eaten food like this………..cooked with passion and love! The wine is list is phenominal and the wait staff, are informed and attentive.I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great little find in the middle of ?????. I went after my friends recommended the food, the service and the wines… they had warned me about the neighborhood…I must admit I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, service and wines on the menu! I will be going to back to explore more of the chef’s daily specials, and my favorite, the tapas plates…

Rude and nasty owner. I had been a few times before and had enjoyed the food, both previous times it was rather slow. However last evening a friend and I decided to dine there and upon arriving it was very busy. We waited patiently as we were ignored for 10 minutes but understandable since the small staff was obviously overworked. A server at long last at least said hello and said he would be with us in a few moments. At that point we were the only people waiting to be seated. A party of four arrived and were obviously friends of the owner and were greeted right away. Finally at long last a female server announced it would be at least 20 minutes before we could be seated. However she proceeded to seat the party of four. I complained to the owner chef and told him I did not appreciate being lied to at which point he began yelling that they were only having a beer and waiting to order food and we could have done the same. I told him we had not been offered that option only that we could not be seated for 20 minutes. He obviously did not care and hope his business model pays off for him because has certainly lost two customers. There are many places to dine in this town so his attitude will not be missed.

Very good. Went here with my father this week, let me say this if you stop by on a Saturday make sure to make a reservation before hand. We went in had some Sangria which i thought was better than just about any place i had in sometime. We has an appetizer of the fried yuca, it comes with two sauces which were really good (a friend also said the empanadas were good as well) for our meal we had the paella damn that was damn good also. Everything was really good I will be going back.
