GREAT. This was one of two places I ate on a recent trip to Winter Haven. I found it enjoyable even despite the wait for a table as the restaurant did not have much room. The food was delicious and service was fast and friendly.
Dinner at andies? no thanks. Lets face it, the food at Andies is excellent for what you get and for what you pay. Outside of that,it sucks!!! The first few ttimes my wife went to eat there we thought, what a great place to eat. A little over the top with the waitress after waitress constantly at your table asking,have you been helped? OMG!!!! But one afternoon we walked in and no one would help us, we stood at the door for ten minutes waiting to be seated. I know what you are thinking, well of course you waited, it is always busy! Not this time, it was slow. We had to walk out. Last night we went in for dinner and I ordered the usual, hamburger and fries. I waited the typical 30-40 minute wait for my food, then my food shows up, and to my disbelief, the fries are half of what they usually are. I asked the waitress to see if I could get some more and she said NO? The service there is horrible. I know, I know, you are thinking,whatever dude. I assure you,the service sucks and the noise is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!
Old time small restaurant. If you want an old time cheap malt and burger place – this is it! good food, great service! sure its old but your first clue should be the sign – just look at the parking lot, it is almost always full, now that should be your second clue. stop in if you want the best ice cream around – there is even a window outside for take-out orders or a separate one just for ice cream. if i sound like an employee or an ad, sorry, but i am not, just a very satisfied customer 🙂
Love this place. We love this place after only visiting twice and only having burgers and shakes. Some describe the look of the place as retro, well it’s more like the decor looks like it was put in place in the 70’s and has not changed, so if your going for a beautiful diner this ain’t it. However, the food is good, the service is good and friendly. An interesting thing is that all of the servers assist your table and they share any tips left At the end of the day. If this place was closer to my home, I’d visit more often for sure. Two of us with burgers, fries and a shake was about $13 which is just almost unheard of. Awesome little place.
It’s a Classic!. I’ve been going to Andy’s since I was a kid. The food is cheap, but good. It’s a small burger/food joint, so enjoy it. Small town USA! Don’t forget to get a shake or ice cream dessert. The dip cones are awesome.
Meh. You get a TON of food for the money, but it’s definitely quantity over quality. The food seems very prepackaged and out of the freezer. The side salad was HUGE, but the crinkle fries were like the ones you get from the grocery and can heat up at home. . My grilled cheese was very oily as well. The ice cream was pretty good, but when it’s served in a stale cone, it’s really not special anymore. The servers were very sweet, but they like to get people in and out of the dining room FAST.
Love the fruit salad milk shakes!
