  Small, clean and affordable. More importantly, their hot sauce is the bomb! Be sure to ask for the warm cornbread to substitute for the white roll.

  Tasty Ribs!. After being told to stop by here a few times, finally made it in. Rick’s is a very solid barbecue joint. Per recommendation by some folks sitting down, I opted for the rib and pork plate. The ribs were fantastic: fall of the bone tender and a good, not too smokey, flavor. The chopped pork was also pretty good, very moist. I’d say the ribs easily come out on top though.For sides I did the mac and cheese and the baked beans. The mac was quite good, I thought the beans were just okay though. The plate also comes with your choice or roll or cornbread, I opted for cornbread. I’m picky about my cornbread and thought it was a little weak. I’ll have to switch up the sides next time.All in all, I plan on coming back. Mainly to grab some more ribs and try the brisket (which I’ve been told is quite good). The service was good and fast, so points there.Oh and if you need one more reason to try it, how about the fact that they have Cheerwine in the soda fountain. You can never go wrong there.

  A Frequent Returner. Went in back four weeks ago on Wednesday. Had great food, great service, and an amazing atmosphere. Have returned every Wednesday since (except for their closure over the Christmas holidays).
