We gave them two chances in the same day. The first time they were rude and two people said they were too busy and would need to get back to us. We waited a bit and left before sitting down. We went back later when there was no one there and said we were back as we had to leave and they asked if we were the couple that threw the menus and left. Despite this second misstep we ordered coffees to go and they got the orders wrong AND forgot part of it. I was excited when it opened but very disappointed.

Pleasant place, good food, nice pastries. We tried this place for lunch on Saturday. By 11:30 most of the inside tables were taken, but there were still outside tables available. As the weather cools, this will be a very nice outside cafe with St. Margaret Marys across the street. You can sit down and order at your table or you can get pastries and stuffed croissants and rolls at the counter. We had the special pasta dish with what seemed like fresh made pappardelle (ribbon) pasta, peas, bacon and creme. It came with an arugula salad and was absolutely delicious. We also had the vegetable omelet which was thick, enormous, and good, but stuffed with the frozen mixed vegetable blend you get from Publix (cauliflower, carrots, and broccoli). I would have preferred some other veggies as they have plenty on the menu. It’s kind of a strange thing to find in your omelet. The omelet came with a little dab of pesto sour cream (little pesto, mostly sour cream) but the toasted bread it came with was delicious. And on the side was a small bowl of fresh fruit which was a nice end to the meal. The coffee arrived good and hot and since we were stuffed, we took home some pastries for the breakfast the next morning. The apple turnover was good, but the guava and cheese was especially tasty.Service was very, very laid back — a little slow, but friendly and helpful when you could catch them to ask. We’ll definitely be back.
