My wife has a gluten sensitivity so we are always on the lookout for GF friendly places. ABE is one of them. For no extra charge if you get a scrambler they will substitue silver dollar sized gf pancakes for the English muffin. It’s a heavy breakfast but usually very good. We like to sit outside. Their coffee is very good and ask for coconut cremer too. Nice location with some shopping nearby for a fun little date morning.
If I could rate them a zero I would. This place is full of rude employees who have no idea how to clear empty tables and seat people. I was told 30 minutes originally and now 1 hour and 45 minutes later there are still empty tables and we are still waiting. When I ask how much longer they say a a half hour. I reminded them that is what they said a half hour ago and they tell me it is a guess that they really don’t know. Thanks for ruining my first Mother’s Day without my mom when my kids were just trying to cheer me up. I will never come back. I recommend others have at least four hours of they want to eat here and you must enjoy employees who are indifferent.
